Howard B. Test, 84, former Aberdeen and area resident, died Sunday, July 5, at a McAllen, Texas nursing home.Services are to be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gates Funeral Home with the Rev. James W. Patten of the area ministry officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, with Masonic committal service by the Aberdeen Blue Lodge.
Mr. Test was head of the Farm Bureau for 17 years in Aberdeen. He was a member of Aberdeen Rotary Club, Frederick Masonic Blue Lodge and Frederick OES. He served three terms on the S.D. Highway Commission and was a member of the Congregational Church.
Survivors include two sons, William, of Elmhurst, Ill., and Howard, of Edinburg, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude West, Paulina, Iowa, and Mrs. Florence Olson, Gillman, Iowa; one brother, Carl Test, Watsonville, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
His first wife preceded him in death in 1946 and his second wife died in 1966.
Friends may call at the Gates Funeral Home from Wednesday noon until time of service Thursday.
