Howard Raeburn Test died Monday at Edinburg [Texas] Hospital. He was 80.

Mr. Test moved to Edinburg from Minnesota in 1952. He had been an active member and was past-president of the Edinburg Lions Club. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge and of the The American Legion. He was a WWII veteran. He worked for many years with the Texas Department of Human Resources before his retirement in July, 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Test of Edinburg; two sons, Howard Raeburn Test II of Plano, Tex. and Robert William Test of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Daniel Test of Dallas, Christine Test of San Antonio, Sarah Loch-Test and Erika Loch-Test, both of Columbus; and one great-grandchild, Steven Taylor Test of Plano.

A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m. at Skinner Funeral Home in Edinburg.
