Will of John Test, Jr., Son of John and Elizabeth (Sanders) Test
In the name of God amen, The fifteenth day of June Ano Dom one thousand seven hundred and eighteen. I John Test of the Township of Darby in the County of Chester, Innkeeper. Being sick in body but of sound mind and perfect memory prase be given to God for the same and knowing the uncertainty of this life on Earth do make ordain and Declare this my Last Will and Testament in writing. Revoking and annulling all other wills and testaments heretofore by me made or declared either by word or writing. That is to say, first I commend my soul to Allmighty God my Creator and my body to the Earth to be buried in such decent and Christian manner as to my Executor here after named shall be thought neet and convenient and as touching such worldly estate it hath pleased God to lend me. My will is that the same be followed and imployed in manner and form following, Vis.
First I will that all such debts as I shall owe at my decease and my funeral expenses be fully paid and discharged by my Executor hereafter named. Item I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Margaret for and during the term of her widdowhood all the rest and residue of my Estate both real and personall and in case she intermarry again then I give and bequeath one fourth part of my do estate unto my sd beloved wife and the residue of my sd estate I give bequeath and devise unto my three children Thomas Test John Test and Margaret Test to be equally divided between them.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my sd loving wife sole Executrix of this my sd last will and testament and do hereby give my sd wife full power and authority to bargain sell convey and dispose of all my mortgage tenement and lot of land where I now dwell with all the appurtenances if she shall think fit and to distribute such sums as shall acrue by such sale according as I above directed and appointed. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seale the day and year first above written.

Then personally appeared Owen Owen and John Reese the witnesses to ye within written will and upon their solemn affirmation according to law declareth and sayth that they were present & saw ye Testator within named sign seal publish and declare ye within writing to be his last will & testament and that at ye doing hereof he was of sound mind and memory to ye best of their understanding.
